Crazy 8s is an over-the-top after-school club that is designed to get kids fired up about math! Designed for children in grades K-2 and 3-5, this program incorporates a collection of novel, hands-on math activities that appeal to a wide range of kids-- not just the future math-contest types. The goal of Crazy 8s is to show that math is fun and recreational, not compulsory, in order to change our culture and get kids to think of math as play.

Although the activities of this program are recreational, the content aligns with the Common Core State Standards to ensure that we reinforce what children are learning in the classroom. The skills are cumulative from week to week, but incorporate fun, mischief-making activities that kids love, like the Bouncy Dice Explosion and Toilet Paper Olympics.
