You Bet Your Garden to Air 100th Episode

This will be the 100th episode since PBS39 took over production in 2018.

Bethlehem, PA. - August 27, 2020 - You Bet Your Garden hosted by Mike McGrath, will air its 100th television episode on PBS39 after production of the original radio show was taken over from WHYY in 2018. The show, touted as an hour of "chemical-free horticultural hijinks," is a weekly, nationally syndicated radio broadcast, shot in the PBS39 studios and modified for television.

“I’ve been around the broadcasting block quite a few times and I have never felt more comfortable than I do with the PBS39 and WLVR teams. The crew is great, the corporate culture is relaxed and professional and the local and national callers and viewers have never been more fun. Another 100, please!” said Mike McGrath, show host.

This weekly call-in program offers ‘fiercely organic’ advice to gardeners far and wide. PBS39 created You Bet Your Garden for television, which has been airing every Saturday since 2018. Additionally, as of 2019, You Bet Your Garden has returned to local radio on 91.3 WLVR News as part of the Saturday lineup. with
