LOWER NAZARETH TWP, Pa. (WLVT) - Just hours before Election Day, Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley continued to draw attention from the top of the ticket.
With Pennsylvania as a critical swing state, Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris held a drive-through rally Monday at Dutch Springs in Lower Nazareth Township.
"Tomorrow is Election Day, and in the next 24 hours Pennsylvania will determine who is the next president of the United States." said Harris, a U.S. senator from California.
With the quarry-turned-water-park serving as a backdrop, Harris addressed a few hundred people at the drive-in style event.
It was cold and windy, but that didn't keep supporters from coming out. Sharon Levy of Bethlehem was among them.
"Here I am, the grandchild of sharecroppers, and I've had many opportunities," Levy said. "And I am thrilled to know that men and women have died to know that we could have a woman of color. So I'm just urging everybody to get out and vote."
Harris and presidential running mate Joe Biden spent the day in Pennsylvania. On Tuesday, Biden plans to visit his hometown of Scranton in the morning before traveling to Philadelphia.
President Donald Trump has also been making the rounds in Pennsylvania, holding a rally Monday at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport in Luzerne County after a weekend tour that included Reading. Just a week ago, Air Force One landed at Lehigh Valley International Airport as Trump held a rally in Hanover Township, Northampton County.
Polls are open in Pennsylvania on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
