BETHLEHEM, Pa. (WLVT) - Though it's just getting warm outside, the City of Bethlehem is already working on designs for new Christmas lights throughout the town.

The city held an open house to showcase the proposed designs and to get feedback from the community on how they feel about the new ideas. David Weiner Design of New York was brought in by the city to create the markups.

"The past couple years we’ve been noticing our decorations are not as robust as people would like," said Housing and Community Development Planner, Allyson Lehr. "We’ve been getting some comments about that, so the mayor decided that we need to invest in looking at what we do every year, because we’re a huge draw for people to come to the city during the holidays."

If you didn't make the open house, the PowerPoint Presentation of the designs will be available online. If you have comments, you can email them to Allyson Lehr at alehr@bethlehem-pa.gov.
