"PBS39 is proud to be a part of this family-oriented event, and thrilled to introduce Clifford to his many fans and young PBS viewers," said Tim Fallon, PBS39 CEO. "It is an excellent opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate the New Year."
Over twelve hundred people stopped by the PPL Public Media Center at PBS39 over the course of the two day festival to take part in the New Year's Eve festivities. Clifford the Big Red Dog, one of the most beloved PBS characters, was on hand to celebrate with his fans of all ages. Visitors got to meet Clifford and take home a special keepsake picture from Rockin' Photobooth, with their favorite "PBS Pup".
While visiting the studio, families scoured the building in search of three elusive PEEPS for a scavenger hunt and voted for their favorite PEEPS-themed dioramas. The 2017 PEEPS Scholastic Diorama Competition featured more than 90 dioramas incorporating PEEPS candies created by local students.
