PBS39 and Fig Bethlehem have partnered to produce Makers in the Lehigh Valley, a digital series including videos, photos, and short editorial content that is meant to highlight artisans in their field.

Makers in the Lehigh Valley will showcase the skills and passions of cutting-edge creators, whether they specialize in craft, community, cuisine, or otherwise. The series will be launched this summer in connection with the programs of PBS39 CREATE -- an instructional channel whose programs provide expert advice on cooking, arts & crafts, gardening, home improvement, and travel -- providing viewers inspiration to taste, grow, imagine, explore, and live more fully.

After three successive years of stopping at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks as the lead roles in a touring production of “Tony ’n Tina’s Wedding," Bonn Place Brewing Company owners Gina and Sam Masotto knew they were hooked on Bethlehem. Now, just a few years later—and a short walk away from SteelStacks—in a mural-wrapped building at 310 Taylor Street on Bethlehem’s South Side, they’re about to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the vibrant brewpub.

Equally dedicated to craft and community, Sam, Gina, and the team at Bonn are constantly evolving an innovative list of artisan beers, often with ingredients sourced locally. They’ve created an upbeat and welcoming atmosphere at Bonn that you sense the minute you walk through their front door. Their obvious love for beer and for Bethlehem is unmistakable, and they want to share both with you.
