Soapbox a personal care company has teamed up with Feed The Children. A organization that helps get food and other necessities to places like food pantries. Recently Soapbox donated thirty thousand bars of soap to Feed the Children. "Every time someone buys one of our products whether it's a hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner or a bodywash whatever it may be, we donate a bar of soap. And we've had a privilege of donating over ten million bars to local homeless shelters, food pantries, and global NGOs we work hand in hand with to promote hygiene. this year alone will be able to donate an additional ten million." says David Simnick, CEO and Co-Founder of Soapbox.
And Feed America is very grateful for the donation, but with the volume of clients, and the pandemic affecting hygiene so much, it won't last long says Michael Davis of Feed The Children. "the average agency can pick up to like 12 pallets which could be anywhere from 18 to 25,000 pounds of supplies and when you're dealing with a community of over 1000 that is still kind of tight to get supplies to everyone. 30,000 bars of soap is fine, but we can probably send that out in one day based on all the agencies we deal with."
