HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WLVT) - The Lehigh Valley job market has grown over the years, along with local companies like Air Products and Mack Trucks.
Now, other companies looking for a place to bring their business have a place to keep and maintain their charter jets.
Lehigh Valley International Airport officials cut the ribbon Monday on the new Hangar 11. Lehigh County Executive Phillips Armstrong described it as a next step for the Valley.
"We are looking to the future that we are going to now attract businesses of a higher caliber to Lehigh County, to go with the businesses we already have. Air Products, Mack Trucks -- these are the kind of people using the jets behind us."
The new hangar is 54,000 square feet and cost just over $16 million. It took just under three years to complete.
