WLVT - TV - While the pandemic emptied out Executive Education Academy Charter School’s (EEACS) classrooms, its staffers are still making regular in-person contact with students.
“It's kind of how we believe a school should be run,” said EEACS founder and CEO, Robert Lysek. “We put community first and this is just another way to do that.”
From apartment building hallways to rowhome front porches, school leaders are helping students and families get books, solve IT problems, and address attendance issues.
Watch our PBS39 News Tonight report as we ride along with one of the school’s teams and join them on their home visit rounds.
