PBS39 Artist of the Month gives young artists from PBS39’s viewing area the chance to be featured by PBS39 on air, online, and on social media throughout the year. In addition, the students selected are also celebrated at an year-end art show every December.
Artist of the Month is comprised of submissions from students in grades K-12, in various categories including visual arts, photography, videography, sculpture and performance art.
PBS39 has received significant positive feedback from the community about Artist of the Month since the program’s inception in 2015. Recently, PBS39 received more than 110 submissions for the 2018 Artist of the Month contest.
