Sophia, the May 2017 Artist of the Month, came to us with a unique talent: glass blowing. Never in the history of this program had we had a glass blowing submission.
And, what a submission it is! Sophia's technique is apparent in her creation of "Fragile Fall," a beautiful, decorative piece that looks as though it was created by a professional artist. It's an impressive effort, and hints toward big things for this young artist in the future.
