New Carbon County Tennis Club Serves an Ace Against Coronavirus

Jennifer Everett bought the Old Maple Tree Inn in Mahoning Township in November 2019. Valley Royale opened in June offering lessons, programs, and events for tennis players and more, despite the pandemic. This fall, Valley Royale will offer a recess membership just for students who are learning from home and missing out on gym class. Owner Jenn Everett says she wants the tennis club to be a hangout in the community and she's working with other local businesses to host events at the club.
