Bear Creek Mountain Resort near Macungie is making changes to other operations that aren’t so socially distant. Director of marketing Gary Kline says they are discouraging use of the indoor lodge, and encouraging people to use their cars to take breaks instead. The resort also built a food truck and is creating more space for outdoor dining with heaters and tents.
If you’re looking to hit the slopes here this winter, you’re going to have to buy your tickets online because capacity is limited. This resort doesn’t have an opening date yet, but ski resorts in the Poconos opened on Friday.
