Lehigh Valley Public Media announces new board chair and two new board members

The Board of Directors of Lehigh Valley Public Telecommunications Corporation (Lehigh Valley Public Media) today elected board member Michael Keim as its new Board Chair, and also welcomed new board members Dr. Chris Wolfel and Imtiaz Patel.

Keim is President of Univest Bank and Trust and Chief Operating Office of Univest Financial Corporation, and a current LVPM board member having joined the board in January 2022. He joined Univest in 2008 after being a consultant for a private equity firm, and spent 14 years with GMAC Residential.

Patel is the Chief Consumer Officer for Gannett, publisher ofUSA TODAY along with hundreds of local media outlets across 43 U.S. states, and over 150 news brands in the United Kingdom. His professional career has included roles as the CEO and Publisher of The Baltimore Banner, several business development positions with Dow Jones & Company, and operating his own company, Andover Inc., providing management consultants to companies.

Chris Wolfel, Ed. D., has been the Executive Director of Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 since 2019. His more than 20-year career in education has included a variety of positions with IU20 including Assistant to the Executive Director for Student Services, and Director of Special Education. Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 is one of 29 intermediate units throughout Pennsylvania which provide educational, administrative, and technology services to more than 175,000 students and 75,000 educators and adults in the Commonwealth.

Lehigh Valley Public Media extends thanks to Board Chair Susan Yee, who will now become the board’s Immediate Past Chair, and to board members John Eureyecko, Jamie Musselman, and Elizabeth Duane for their service.
